By accessing or using Enqode QR, you agree to comply with this Acceptable Use Policy in addition to our Terms & Conditions, Privacy Policy, and other applicable policies.

The purpose of this Acceptable Use Policy is to ensure that Enqode QR is used responsibly, legally, and fairly by all users, while protecting platform stability, security, and the integrity of analytics data.
2. General Acceptable Use
You agree to use Enqode QR:
- In compliance with all applicable laws and regulations
- In a manner that does not harm, disrupt, or abuse the Service
- Without attempting to bypass security, rate limits, or access controls
- For both personal and commercial purposes, where permitted
3. Prohibited Content & Activities
You must not use Enqode QR to create, distribute, or promote QR codes that:
3.1 Illegal, Harmful, or Fraudulent Content
- Phishing, scams, or deceptive practices
- Malware, viruses, spyware, or harmful downloads
- Fraudulent schemes or impersonation
- Money laundering, gambling fraud, or illegal financial activity
3.2 Inappropriate or Restricted Content
- Adult or sexually explicit content
- Hate speech, harassment, or violent content
- Content that promotes discrimination or extremism
- Content that violates public order or morality
3.3 Intellectual Property Violations
- Copyright infringement
- Trademark misuse
- Distribution of pirated or unauthorized material
3.4 Misleading or Abusive Practices
- QR codes that intentionally mislead users
- Hidden redirects or deceptive destination changes
- Excessive or spam-based QR code distribution
4. Fair Usage Policy
Enqode QR offers unlimited scans on QR codes, subject to fair usage limits designed to protect system performance and ensure equal access for all users.
Fair usage limits apply to all plans, including free trial, and paid subscriptions.
4.1 Scan Rate Limits
A hard limit of 1,000 scans per minute per QR code applies.
Usage exceeding this limit may result in temporary throttling or restriction.
4.2 Platform Protection
Fair usage limits exist to prevent abuse, ensure reliability, and maintain accurate analytics.
Enqode QR reserves the right to modify fair usage limits at any time.
5. Automated Traffic, Bots & Abuse
To protect platform integrity and analytics accuracy:
- Automated, scripted, artificial, or bot-generated scanning activity is strictly prohibited.
- Any attempt to artificially inflate scan counts or manipulate analytics is not allowed.
- High-frequency requests originating from non-human traffic patterns may be blocked or limited.
- Use of scripts, crawlers, emulators, or automated tools to generate QR scans is prohibited.
- Enqode QR may use automated systems to detect abnormal or abusive traffic patterns.
6. Monitoring, Enforcement & Suspension
Enqode QR reserves the right to:
- Monitor usage patterns for abuse or policy violations
- Disable or suspend individual QR codes
- Restrict or terminate user accounts
- Limit or block traffic associated with abusive behavior
These actions may be taken without prior notice to protect platform security and users.
