Every dynamic QR code has its own analytics page. Static codes are not tracked, because their scans never pass through Enqode QR.
Open a code's analytics
- In the sidebar, open My QR Codes.
- Click Analytics on the code.
The Analytics section sits below the code's details. Use the date range button on the right to pick Today, Last 7 days, Last 30 days, Last 90 days, All time or a Custom range. Every number on the page follows the range you pick. Click the refresh button next to the Analytics heading to load the latest scans.
The four headline numbers
- Total Scans: every scan in the date range, including repeat scans from the same device.
- Unique Scans: distinct devices. The same device scanning the code again within 24 hours counts once.
- Avg Scans/day: total scans divided by the number of days in the range.
- Repeat rate: the share of scans that were repeats, worked out as (Total minus Unique) divided by Total.
Each number also shows the change against the previous period of the same length.
The tabs
- Overview: Scans over time, a Time of day heat map, a GPS heat map, top countries, devices, operating systems and browsers, and the latest entries in the Scan Log.
- Locations: where scans came from, including Top countries and Top cities.
- Devices: Device class (mobile, tablet or desktop), Operating system and Browser.
- Scan Log: every scan recorded, newest first, with the date, time, city and country, device and operating system, and browser. You can filter the log.
- Change History: a timeline of edits to the code. This is coming soon.
If the numbers look wrong
- A note under the toolbar tells you when the date range was narrowed, or when your range goes back further than your scan history. Older scans are not included.
- Scans from before you reset a code's analytics are gone. Resetting cannot be undone.
- If a static code shows no scans, that is expected. See "Why does my QR code show no scans?".
