Creating QR codes in bulk from a CSV

The bulk generator turns each row of a CSV file into one QR code. You style the batch once and download every code together.

Before you start

Bulk creation is a paid feature. If your plan does not include it, you will see "Bulk creation is a paid feature" and a link to upgrade.

Create a batch

  1. Open the bulk generator. From the website, go to Bulk QR Code Generator (in the footer) and click Create in bulk.
  2. Choose Type: pick the kind of code, for example Link. If the type offers both, choose Static QR or Dynamic QR.
  3. Upload & Customise: click the template button, for example Download Link template. Fill in one row per code and keep the header row as it is.
  4. Drop your CSV on the upload box, or click browse files.
  5. Check the preview table. Rows with a problem are highlighted in red with the reason, and are skipped. Click Download all skipped rows to get them back as a file, fix them, and upload again.
  6. Style the batch. One design applies to every code.
  7. Preview & Download: choose a file format, a layout and paper size if you want print sheets, and a folder to save the batch into.
  8. Click Download. The button shows how many codes you are about to download.

Limits

  • A static batch can hold up to 4,000 rows. We recommend 2,000 or fewer.
  • Dynamic codes made in bulk count towards your plan's dynamic code allowance. The upload step tells you how many you have left.
